OBRA – Stage 1 – July 22

Directions to Start:

From north of Bend take Highway 97 south to exit 138 and onto Colorado Avenue heading west.  Proceed west on Colorado for 1.6 miles to a round about.  Take the third exit on the round about heading south on Cascade Lakes Highway.

Continue on Cascade Lakes Highway for another 8.3 miles to the Wanoga Snow Park.   If you reach the Sun River cut off you have gone too far.  Turn into Wanoga is on the left side of the road.  Estimated drive time 25 minutes.

Stage Notes

• Feed zone at the top of the first climb right before the turn off to Sun River is for the pro men’s field only.

• WARNING!  The Pro Men’s field will be starting in Bend and heading up Cascade Lakes Highway between 10:00 – 10:40 AM.  If you get caught behind this field there will be no way to pass it on the road and you will have to follow the race up to the snow park.
